Joe voter for Democracy

This article is in the research phase.

President Trump who has so far refused to use the DPA to mandate production of PPE or Ventilators, recently use it to mandate pork chops.

Meanwhile over at the CDC a set of "suggestions" were drawn up outlining safe practices to reopen plants now MANDATED to reopen to produce meat products.

Anyone with an ounce of common sense understands you cannot open facilities to workers who have not been tested and proven negative for coronavirus.  Not just once but on a regular basis to assure they are not bringing infections back into the facilities.

I am contacting UFCW and others for input. ( Follow/support United Food Workers Twitter  Facebook )

One option I suggest is to refuse to purchase products produced by these suppliers until such time their plants are in full compliance with every CDC "suggested" safety protocol as well as have a mandatory testing policy that prohibits entry of any persons into facility who have tested positive for Covid19. This must be on-going as Negative today does not mean Negative tomorrow.

These plants flooded their communities with infections so one time tests are pointless.

Tyson Brands to avoid for immediate future to protect workers. If products don't sell plants won't stay open.
